Microsoft Kills Nintendo

Microsoft sure is rocking hard at E3 2009.

Aside from big game announcement Metal Gear: Rising, The Beatles: Rock Band was also announced on the Microsoft conference with no less than Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr with the wives of the late late John Lennon and George Harrison, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison.

Microsoft also announced its collaboration with social networking giant Facebook, micro-blogging hit Twitter and internet radio star Last.fm for the Xbox 360 Live service.

But the biggest news has to be the announcement of Project Natal. A potential Wii-killer if you ask me. Project Natal boasts of a motion-sensing and voice-detecting camera/microphone that will capture motion and voice for gameplay as opposed the Wii’s limitation to hand gestures.

Looks like Microsoft came in prepared and ready to fight.
