Wii Heart Rate Sensor – Really Nintendo??

Nintendo has been in the video game industry for ages. Giving us massive success stories with the NES, the Mario franchise and the Wii. But Nintendo has also been a victim of epic fails – the Nintendo Game Cube and the N64 which didn’t quite deliver as Nintendo hoped it would.

Now, there seems to be another addition to Nintendo’s err.. lapse in judgment – the Wii Vitality Sensor. This latest Wii addition measures a player’s heart/pulse rate and was introduced by no less than Mr. Satoru Iwata himself.

This leaves fans, not only of Nintendo, but video game fans from all over asking “Really, Nintendo? Why?”

Man, Nintendo is really getting owned in E3 2009.
