Why The Jeje Must Go

I freaking hate Jejenism – its the way people type. They purposely insert unnecessary letters to make their sentences stylish or to hide the fact that they don’t know the correct way to spell.

This is indeed annoying and the massive growth of the number of people doing this is staggering. Along with that growth comes the growth of the haters. I mean, try reading this and see if you don’t cringe:

But lately there have been supporters of these poeple. That is understandable since they are getting massive heat from everyone. Fan Pages against Jejemons and Jejenism can have around 80k members.

Take this article: Jejemons daw. I see where he is coming from and he does have some valid points but the conclusion and message he is ultimately trying to deliver is just flawed for me.

It has indeed gotten out of hand. Now the ridicule extends to the Jejemon’s fashion statement and social status which is wrong. That’s why I say I see where he is coming from. But who is this guy to police everyone else?

There are several points in his article that I disagree with:

May nasasaktan sila.

“You cannot please everybody.”

Wag kayong masyadong pasosyal.

That thinking breeds mediocrity. That is saying that the end always justifies the means. I don’t think so. Oo, may pagka-grammar nazi ako.

With all that said, my biggest problem is that he suggests that we just ignore these people. That is not constructive. I say, when you see something wrong, fix it. Its definitely wrong to hate it or loathe it but its also, if not more, inappropriate to ignore it.

Hate the Jeje, not the Jejemon.

Baby James Saying “Villar.” What Does It Mean?

It was amusing to the very least. And since I’m not voting for either Noy nor Villar, I should care less. But its literally everywhere so here is my take on the incedent. It only means two things: Villar is really overdoing his media campaign. Its everywhere – TV, Internet and perhaps radio (I don’t […]
